Een goed ontbijt iedere morgen stipt vanaf zeven uur.De kamer was schoon,twee goede eenpersoons bedden, prima douche.Vriendelijk personeel.De kamer was rustig gelegen, aan de achterkant van het hotel, met uitzicht op een parkje met enkele tennisbanen.Alleen geluid van zingende vogels.We verbleven 8 nachten en maakten dagelijks uitstapjes met de trein(station loopafstand 10 minuten) naar het gardameer,venetie,padova en Vicenza.Castelvecchio ,aan de rand van het oude centrum van verona op 15 minuten lopen. Een schoon hotel!
To call this hotel a guesthouse does it a disfavour. The rooms are of a higher standard than Premier Inn by UK standards - large, clean and newly decorated and very functional. They even have tea and coffee making facilities and a bottle of water unusual in Italian hotels. Additional blankets, pillows, many towels and a large bathroom with excellent shower and toiletries including a bidet added to the comfort. Our room (06) also had a safe, fridge and plenty of hangers and a well positioned wall mounted TV. There are CCTV cameras on the front door and in corridors that add to the feeling of security. The room cost included breakfast which was a buffet and compared very admirably to the 4 star hotel breakfast we had enjoyed in our previous hotel in Italy during the same trip. There is also a bar and the prices of wine and beer were low and of generous measures. The reception staff were very helpful in providing maps, directions etc. There is also a free shuttle bus to their sister restaurant if your time is tight or you want the convenience. The hotel is 5 minutes easy walk to the train station and about 10 minutes pleasant walk to the old town. A very comfortable Friday/Saturday stay which cost us for 2 nights less than a lesser quality Premier Inn in London, and it included a very good buffet breakfast and all the facilities of a quality hotel. Highly recommended. Oh, and free wi-fi in the room which seems a luxury in any city hotel! Plus - Verona is beautiful and very compact and easily to get around - perfect for a weekend break.
Protagonista di una vacanza! Ottima igiene e pulizia delle camere. Personale gentile e competente. Colazione buonissima e di vasta scelta. A 2 passi dal centro di verona e a qualche centinaia di metri dalla stazione porta nuova Consigliatissimo!
Il coloratissimo Hotel Porta Palio è situato fuori dalle mura della città antica, a 20 minuti a piedi dal centro. La sua posizione è comoda anche per raggiungere la stazione (circa 5-7 minuti di auto); a tal proposito l'hotel dispone di un servizio navetta da e per la stazione gratuito per i suoi clienti con cadenza oraria. Il consiglio è di sfruttarlo qualora ne aveste bisogno, perchè farla in taxi viene a costare sui 15euro.La camera matrimoniale era ampia, arredata in maniera semplice; bagno piccolo, ma pulito.Buona qualità del sonno. Colazione molto invitante e ricca, da consumare in un ampio salone (difficilmente ultimamente si trovano buffet così ricchi).L'hotel dispone anche di un ristorante a pian terreno.
The free breakfast was a massive plus, it was fully stocked with sweet and savoury treats. They have a restaurant next door where you can order food, this is great because on a night when you prefer to stay in your room, you can order food through reception: they make excellent pizza! The Room was cleaned daily and we had a wonderful view of the canal. The Staff was very helpful too. Overall very pleased!
Salve, ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia in questo hotel per tre notti durante il ponte dell'Immacolata. Hotel in ottima posizione (in 10/15 minuti a piedi si arriva al centro della città), stanze confortevoli e pulitissime, personale gentilissimo, colazione molto buona. Inoltre un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Che dire.. se dovessi tornare a Verona saprei certamente dove alloggiare! Consigliatissimo!
Hotel molto carino e pulitissimo, personale gentile e attento a qualsiasi richiesta, posizione ottima, colazione ricca e di qualità. Io e mia moglie siamo rimasti ospiti per un giorno ma ci ritorneremo sicuramente
Very good location: ca. 20 minutes to the Arena, ca. 10 minutes to train station. Quiet neighborood, helpful staff, big bathroom, very good breakfast for Italy: meat, cheese, eggs, lot of sweets. Amazing hot croissants always made on the spot.
È la seconda volta che vengo qui nel giro di due mesi per Amore e mi trovo benissimo la stanza è confortevole, accogliente è davvero molto molto carina. il bagno ha tutti i confort ha una doccia enorme. Dipendenti gentilissimi e la cosa più importante è che sono PULITISSIMI. Davvero consigliassimo 5 minuti a piedi dal centro e 2 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Tornerò sicuramente. BRAVI!
Ho soggiornato in questa struttura sabato sera, in occasione di un'opera all'Arena di Verona. Dal mio punto di vista è davvero un ottimo hotel: ampio parcheggio gratuito accanto all'edificio, personale cortese e disponibile, camera semplice ma comoda, pulita e perfettamente insonorizzata (nonostante desse sulla strada principale che è molto trafficata). La colazione è varia e di ottima qualità e i prezzi delle bottigliette d'acqua da portare in camera sono davvero irrisori rispetto ad altri hotel! La posizione è comoda: si raggiunge il centro tranquillamente a piedi in 15 minuti, altrimenti ci sono i mezzi pubblici. Lo consiglio caldamente per un soggiorno a Verona, è un hotel davvero bello, colorato e funzionale!
